The Rainforest Experience
On the Rainforest Experience you will hike through primary and secondary forest with one of our excellent, local naturalist guides. While in the more remote parts of the refuge you may enjoy the jungle that surrounds you without distractions.
This is a wonderful way to experience the rainforest. For the Rainforest Experince we recommend light clothing, binoculars, repellent and a bottle of water.

Capuchin Capers
The troop of 26 monkeys was strung out over about 100 meters, moving through the forest. The lead monkey, a mature female, came to an area where the tree cover was broken by an open swamp with only a narrow corridor two trees wide going around it.
