Three – Bedroom Cottages
Both of our Three -Bedroom Cottages each have three bedrooms, one bathroom with hot water shower, a living room, a screened porch and a kitchenette with basic cooking and eating utensils.
Like the Two-Bedroom Cottages, they come equipped with fridge, coffee maker, and a two-burner hot plate. These have floor or wall fans in all of the rooms. There are double beds in two of the bedrooms and one single bed in the third.

All Two Bedroom Cottages Don't Have
- Air conditioner.
- TV.
- Mini-bar.
- No WiFi in the room area.
We didn’t know there was so much to do at Hacienda Baru, so much wildlife, so many birds and reptiles
We spent 3 nights at Baru lodge. We had a cabin with 3 bedrooms and a small kitchen. Each room had a high powered fan facing the bed to keep cool on the hot humid nights. The kitchen has a full-size fridge with a double burner hot plate, it was perfect for cooking our own meals. The pool was very inviting and very large. We used it often on every very hot day. The restaurant offered great meals as we found out on our last day. We enjoyed the trails available to explore, we saw lots of birds, reptiles, insects and a wild pig. So much more to do at the lodge but we were still getting adjusted to the hot temperatures since we came from Canada’s -40C temps.
